Mundulla
Friends who know me well know that I spend a good portion of each afternoon resting in bed. Some days this can be grating as I pine for the best of the sunshine (being from sunny Tasmania). But my family and I are taking a four-month road trip; escaping the winter and exploring central and Western Australia. So, I’m going to treasure the stillness and rest and the ever-changing view from my van window as I share pics of my view with you.
Our travels begin as we bravely (foolishly) ferry to Victoria in the middle of a state-wide Covid Lockdown. The roads are quiet. We drive straight to the South Australian border and hold our breath as phone calls are made. They finally allow us through and we find a peaceful leafy spot to sleep at the show grounds in Mundulla, just across the border. This trip has been uncertain throughout the planning and it feels strange that it's reality.
Bring it on!
